Born in Moldavia in 1971, Marc Fishman and his family lived in Austria and Italy, and eventually settled in the United States near Hartford, Connecticut.
Marc began his studies at the University of Connecticut, where he entered one of the top physical therapy programs in the country. After a change of heart, he transferred into the art school at the University of Hartford, where he began his formal art training. He furthered his schooling in Florence, Italy, where he hoped to study classical painting closer to its source.
Since entering the professional art world, Marc has won numerous awards, including "Best in Show" in a renowned international Fantasy Art Show. He has also won numerous Judges' Choice Awards in national and international shows. In 1998 Marc also won the esteemed Chesley Award for his pieces entitled, "Salvation" and "Waternymph".
Marc hangs his work in galleries from New York to Los Angeles, including the prestigious Galerie Morpheus in Beverly Hills. Whether it be mythology or landscape, Marc's passion for color and precise detail shine thru his paintings...
